 Position Summary
 The University of New Mexico, School ofMedicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking a full scope nurse-midwife that
 will contribute actively to the climate of diversity and inclusivity. We invite
 applications for an Open Rank position in Midwifery. UNM Obstetrics and
 Gynecology's Midwifery Division has a busy clinical practice and is active in
 education.
 
 We are a large midwifery group practice that provides full scope midwifery care
 within the University of New Mexico Health System. We are group of diverse and
 dedicated midwives who are passionate about patient care, advocacy, health
 system improvement, and education of the next generation of clinicians. This is
 a full-time clinical position within an academic system which includes clinical
 teaching of a variety of learners but is not a didactic teaching position. Our
 role as faculty within the School of Medicine provides many opportunities for
 interdisciplinary collaboration & professional growth based on your
 interests. New Mexico offers autonomous midwifery practice, beautiful high
 desert outdoor adventures, and sunny weather almost every day.

 This position
 offers a competitive compensation (salary commensurate with experience) and

 Qualifications
 Minimum Requirements:  
 Eligible to work in the United StatesMaster's degree (MSN)Participation in the Certificate Maintenance Program with the American Midwifery Certification Board (or eligible). CNM license with New Mexico Department of Health (or eligible)RN license with New Mexico Board of Nursing (or eligible). State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification and Federal DEA registration (or eligible). Preferred Requirements: 
  Experience teaching adult learners 
 Experience working in a multidisciplinary environmentInterest in participating in clinical researchAt least one year clinical experience working in academic medical centerA demonstrated commitment to cultivate anunderstanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success
 of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
