Overview

The Electrical Engineer will collaborate within a team of other electrical engineers with experience levels from entry to 30+ years. The Electrical Engineer II position is able to progress into higher levels of experience. The engineering department also consists of mechanical, aerospace, and system engineering disciplines. Teams are organized to accomplish the needs of the active programs and in some cases the engineer may participate in multiple programs and among multiple teams. The Electrical Engineer II will be involved in the design from initial concept through customer acceptance



Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

    Responsible for electronic hardware design, troubleshooting, and implementation of military equipment.
  • Electrical designs consist of:
    • Digital and analog circuits
    • AC and DC power circuits
    • Digital communication buses
  • Design capture using CAD software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Component selection and qualification required to implement the design
  • Participates in verification and validation of the design
  • Provides design support for installation, testing, and customer verification
  • Requires good troubleshooting skills
  • Requires operating electronic test equipment for design verification
  • Participates in configuration control of design via release process and engineering change orders

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar required.
