As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. You will interact with employees and guests, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to any security-related concerns. Your presence and attention to detail will help to maintain order and support access control procedures. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the financial institution environment.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
