UNC Health Cary Ortho is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our dynamic orthopedic team. This position will work alongside a hand and upper extremity surgeon. The role will primarily involve clinic-based responsibilities with opportunities for hybrid scheduling. Schedule & Flexibility: * Current schedule is 4 days/week, with options for 4 or 5 days/week based on candidate preference * Hybrid scheduling available, such as 4 days in clinic and 1 day in urgent care Candidate Background Preferences: * Recent training or experience in orthopedics is preferred * Open to new graduates * Seeking candidates genuinely interested in orthopedics Call Responsibilities: * Shared call within the practice * Physician Assistant provides backup call when the physician is on ER call. * No primary call responsibilities, but option to take primary call can be discussed. Ideal Candidate: * Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program * Valid PA Licensure in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain) * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy For more information, please contact Laura Oakes at laura.oakes@unchealth.unc.edu.
