As the Senior Property Accountant for a large multi-project fortune 500 client, you thrive on supporting the Property Management team while working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements.

Candidates must live in the Atlanta, GA area.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Overseeing the production and accuracy of all property management accounting and financial activities.

* Ensuring all funding requests, reconciliation of funding received and scheduled check runs are accurate, and all deadlines are met.

* Reconcile cash on a weekly basis.

* Successfully perform month end close procedures including bank reconciliations, accrual/reclass applications, variance explanations and development of monthly reporting package.

* Perpetuate continual communication with all stakeholders including dedicated property management team, client contacts, corporate accounting resources and technology partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 4 years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.

* Demonstrated proficiency to work with computer applications, including Excel, Word & MRI and Nexus or other payment automation solutions.

* Ability to successfully pass the accounting competency test.

* Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Third Party Management experience.

* Commercial Real Estate Accounting experience.

* Other accounting duties as assigned
