Position Overview
Essential Job Duties |
The
NCSU Investigative Dermatology Residency Program is intended to provide advanced clinical and scientific training in veterinary and comparative dermatology. The program length is three years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The resident will be involved in the receiving and care of companion animals with skin diseases as part of NC State's Veterinary Health Complex Dermatology Service.
- When in clinics, the resident will supervise senior veterinary students enrolled in the dermatology rotation and lead weekly rounds with them.
- The resident will be required to attend clinical and histopathological rounds as a part of his/her training and complete at least one research project that will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
