Job Description

The SailPoint Security Engineer-IAM-Remote role requires experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools, specifically SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), for development, integration, and optimization of enterprise identity solutions. This position provides the opportunity to lead key development initiatives, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members while expanding expertise in the evolving IAM ecosystem.

We are considering candidates at multiple levels from Consultant II to Expert levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom workflows, rules, and APIs in SailPoint IdentityIQ to support automated provisioning and de-provisioning.

  • Integrate SailPoint IIQ with LDAP-based directories, web services, SAP, and cloud platforms.

  • Configure modules including Lifecycle Manager and Compliance Manager to address complex business and compliance requirements.

  • Diagnose and resolve integration and configuration issues across multi-environment IAM landscapes to ensure stability and compliance.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for deployments using GitHub and Jenkins, supporting agile development and release cycles.

  • Adapt to dynamic work demands, including providing flexible coverage as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2-10+ years of Identity and Access Managment (IAM) experience.

  • 2-4+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development.

  • 2-4+ years of strong proficiency in Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, and REST APIs.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure components, including operating systems (Windows/Linux), relational databases, and application hosting frameworks.

  • Knowledge of IAM principles such as RBAC, access reviews, and policy management.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with IAM tools such as IdentityNow, Saviynt, or Entra ID Governance.

  • Certifications including CompTIA Security+, SailPoint Certified Implementation Engineer, or other IAM product-specific credentials.

  • Experience integrating with directories (AD, LDAP), identity providers, HR systems, databases, and various applications.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $76,200.00 - 134,550.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
