Description
VP of Growth Operations, is a senior leadership position within the company reporting to the SVP of Business Development & Global Sales. This position will be primarily responsible for executing business development and sales reporting, opportunity mgmt., all BD tools/subscriptions/CRM, Bid & Proposal functions, technical support to product demonstrations (Tech Ops) and all Rep & Reseller/External resource support. The candidate must possess detailed experience and knowledge in Product Sales and "Backoffice functions" such as Sales Enablement and Sustainment. The position manages several teams and other resources (agreements, contracts) to meet corporate growth objectives. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Bid & Proposal Operations and process for the entire company
- Provide all functions associated with reporting, maintaining CRM tools and opportunity pipeline processes referred to as Bus Dev Operations.
- Develop and maintain all Representative Agents and Value Added Reseller agreements for both domestic and international partners.
- Manage the Technical Operations Sales Support team and sales management plans (Quotas, incentive plans, customer care, trouble ticketing and problem resolution, product training support).
- Support major BD and Sales functions including working Export Compliance for international sales to providing customer and end-ser feedback to the improve product design, manufacturing, and operations.
- Collaborate with BD resources and request investments as required (e.g. B&P, IRAD, indirect staff) to achieve financial targets.
- Build and optimize (internally) team productivity and processes to deliver products, services, and solutions that satisfy the needs of our customers.
- Drive innovation by integrating company technologies, advanced methodologies, and customer capabilities to enhance mission effectiveness
- Partner across other growth organizations of the company and participate in Marketing & Communications (MarCom) and GovOps activities such as conferences, discussions with customers, thought leaders and potential industry partnerships.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, National Security, Computer Science or National Security related).
- Requires a minimum of 15 years of experience as a Business Development executive
- Experience with product sales, account management, and inside sales generation
- Proven strategic & creative thinker with senior leadership experience to successfully capture opportunities in a defense & technology market environment
- Able to formulate and implement growth and sales strategies with a mission-centric mindset to translating customer requirements to company provided solutions
- Successfully build and manage pipeline of opportunities across select markets
- People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring Business Development and Sales teams
- Knowledge and relationships with DOD and international defense customers
- Understand unmanned systems and counter-UAS market and competitive landscape of platforms & payloads across the air domain
- Experience in project management skills such as conducting requirements analysis, capture resource allocation, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial monitoring, and reporting
- Experience in the procurement process from development of customer need statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs) and coordination of delivery schedules
