Job Summary:

Responsible for performing general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Tasks include cleaning of common areas, workspaces, restrooms, break areas, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, and drinking fountains. Responsibilities also include trash removal, dusting, disinfecting, polishing, and other duties as assigned to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trash, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available, as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

  • Service all public and operating spaces throughout the building
  • Facilitate plaza and/or parking garage areas as specified
  • Keep elevator cars clean and neat
  • Preserve lobby and first impression areas
  • Uphold the exterior of the building
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness
  • Check and restock all restroom products
  • Police building grounds
  • Police the dock
  • Police stairwells daily, dust mop stairwells weekly, and damp mop stair landings & treads monthly
  • Snow removal
  • Respond to special requests throughout the day
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors to include tile, carpet, and brick flooring
  • Complete work assignments promptly
  • Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure
  • Leverage and maintain floor equipment as appropriate
  • Always observe safety precautions, use safety signs "wet floor."
  • Ability to work without normal supervision
  • Reports safety hazards when identified
  • Safely drive a company vehicle
  • Waxing, stripping, and buffing floors.
  • Carpet cleaning with floor equipment
  • Responsible for all basic cleaning of the interior and exterior of the property
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, wiping, dusting, and polishing
  • Cleaning of restrooms includes restocking toilet tissue and other dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, cleaning toilets and urinals, disinfecting high-touch areas, dusting horizontal surfaces and vents
  • Office Cleaning includes moving furniture, vacuuming, repositioning, dusting and wiping furniture, emptying trash and replacing liners, disinfecting and dusting desktops and telephones, dusting cubicle partitions and cabinets
  • Common area cleaning includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming hard flooring and carpets, spot cleaning walls, disinfecting high-touch areas, dusting vents, dusting window sills, and cleaning glass panels
  • Eating area cleaning includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hard flooring areas, disinfecting counters, tables, chairs, sinks, and other fixtures, trash removal, and refilling consumables
  • Perform additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
  • Restock carts and closets at the end of each shift
  • Waxing, stripping, and buffing floors.
  • Carpet cleaning with floor equipment.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors to include tile, carpet, and brick flooring.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year of Project experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Bilingual Preferred
    • Must be willing to work assigned hours
    • Schedule: Monday - Friday ( Flexible schedule) OT and Weekends

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    • Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels
    • Work in proximity to others
    • Work outdoors in all changing weather conditions in a geographical area
    • Standing and/or walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling

Harvard is offering a competitive salary structure including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
