Essential Job Duties |
This position is for current permanent NC State University employees only.
- Supervise the daily management of the NC State's athletic turf and grounds.
- Provide leadership in maintaining all athletic equipment and vehicles for on NC State athletic facilities.
- Work closely with supervisors regarding facilities maintenance needs, events, budgets, schedules and spending for all athletic facilities.
- Work athletic and special events as required.
- Assist in all aspects of facility management as required.
- Supervise 4-6 full-time staff responsible for the maintenance of on-campus facilities and grounds.
- Oversee event staff as needed.
- Monitor and manage budget. Make staffing and purchase recommendations to limit expenditures.
- Assist in managing Zero Waste Wolfpack and other Athletic Department sustainability initiatives.

Other Responsibilities |
- This position is considered Essential and Key for University operations. Therefore, this position may be required to report to work during Adverse Weather conditions and even though the University may be operating under an alternative work schedule.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and administration.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education |
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in the trade(s) areas assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Prior experience working in Facilites in Collegiate or Professional Athletics.
- Knowledge of game day event set up and management.
- Must be knowledgeable in Facilities and Turf & Grounds Maintenance, including general plumbing, electrical and repairs.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in Facilities and Turf & Grounds management in Collegiate or Professional Athletics.
- Previous supervisory experience.
