The Program Manager Cardiovascular Servicesrole ensures alignment with institutional goals, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

AsProgram Manager- Cardiovascular Services Administrationyouwill:


  • Lead and coordinate strategic, operational, and clinical initiatives supporting Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Cardiology programs.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, administrative teams, and external partners to drive performance improvement,optimizeworkflows, and support program growth.

  • Work in close partnership with the Medical Directors for the EP and Interventional Cardiology programs and Cardiovascular Services Administrative Leadership in strategic planning and execution,identifyinggrowth opportunities, service gaps, and developing innovations in care delivery.

  • Lead quality improvement and care variation reduction initiatives in a variety of areas including cost savings, access and throughput, resourceutilization, strategic outreach, value-based care, and patient outcomes in both practice and hospital settings.


The Cardiovascular Service Line Administration team is a diverse group of individuals responsible for leadership, quality improvement, and research for cardiovascular services throughout MaineHealth. All team members are a vital part of improving quality, performance, and outcomes. Team members work closely with physician and administrative leadership to help develop and support Cardiovascular Service Line divisions, sections, and programs. We believe inleveragingindividual experience, strengths, interests, and knowledge for the betterment of patient care and support of cardiovascular excellence.

Summary:
The Program Manager roleis responsible forall operational aspects of the assigned program, including development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation. Plans andover seesprocesses that ensure program goals are measured, analyzed, evaluated,reportedand met. Supports the operational aspects of assigned program including development of materials and tools and is accountable for implementing program work plan(s) and assuring completion ofday to dayactivities. May manage 3 or more small programs, 2 medium or one large program.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


  1. Education:Bachelor's Degree in healthcareor relevant field preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications:Licensure/certification may be preferred orrequiredbased on scope of role.
  3. Experience:Two years of program management or related work experiencerequired. Three years of healthcare experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required:N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:Strong facilitation and analytical/problem-solving skills.
