Respiratory Therapist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at the Jennifer Moreno VA Medical Center.

Work Hours:

Pulmonary Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available 24/7, including holidays.
• Normal shift for Pulmonary RT's is a 10-hour day and 40 hours per week.
• Sleep Medicine Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available Monday through Friday.
• The normal shift for Sleep Medicine Rts is an 8-hour day and 40 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Staff that works a six (6) hour, or longer, shift shall be entitled to an unpaid thirty (30) minute meal break.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience, including critical care (if working in Pulmonary)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Lisensure through Respiratory Care Board of California
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) Program
• Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software
  (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
