Flow Cytometry Manager

Responsible for operational oversight of cytometry components in the Immunology Core; instrument operation/oversight; study consultation; data analyses/interpretation, budget/billing management, technology/protocols development. Collaborate with Immune Monitoring Manager to balance workflow/workloads. Preferred: Experience in multiparameter cytometry, sorting and other spectral analyses, self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multitask, ability to alternate between being a leader and individual contributor, advanced knowledge of flow cytometry instrument setting and compensation optimization and acquisition template building; ability to complete responsibilities in a timely manner, 4+ years' experience including operation, QC and preventative maintenance of flow cytometry equipment.

• Coordinates and manages research programs and projects in accordance with established policies and procedures. Manages subcontracts and collaboration with other sites.
• Develops and implements program goals, objectives, and operating procedures to ensure program success. Implements the use of new technologies.
• Manages program budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and regulations.
• Prepares and presents reports on program activities, outcomes, and impact to stakeholders.
• Monitors and evaluates program performance, leading quality and process improvement projects as needed.
• Coordinates the supervision and performance of technical staff. Ensures site safety compliance and audit inspection readiness.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, required.
