The Department of Infectious Diseases and International Health is seeking a multifaceted research project manager and data analyst to join Dr. Kathleen McManus' research team. This position will specialize in research data and logistics, helping to drive HIV care forward The research experiences will span a number of research projects that focus on HIV care, HIV prevention, and health policy. The overarching goal of Dr. McManus's research is to quantify and characterize the impact of health policies on the United States' plan to end the HIV epidemic and ultimately to improve health policies for people with HIV and those at risk for HIV. This team member will coordinate and implement data-related initiatives and support project management responsibilities for multiple research projects. Opportunities to generate and present scholarly work are expected. This role will play a central part in coordinating complex, multi-site projects - ensuring progress tracking, version control, and timely deliverables - while also contributing to data management and analysis. This position offers the opportunity to support the scientific rigor and organizational efficiency of the research team. As a member of Dr. McManus's research team, the team member will provide a range of project and data management to support multiple projects and programs. This team member will also support overall project management tasks including managing version control for numerous documents, providing timely follow up on tasks, managing data and project workflows, and communicating clearly and professionally with multiple stakeholders. They will also support data cleaning, quality assessment of data, and statistical analysis. They may train and supervise student workers and volunteers who are working on data analysis. They participate in regular assessments of reliability, meet weekly to discuss research progress, and assist with literature searches pertinent to various research project topics.
