Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location with zip code: Savannah, GA 31408 Duration: 12+ months Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Shift Pay rate: $55-$60/hr. on W2 basis Role & Responsibilities: Develop production routing and manufacturing drawings. Utilize 3D CAD software to design fixtures. Assist in the analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality. Collaborate with operators to identify manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flowcharts. Conduct time studies and analyze data to optimize production cycles and identify bottlenecks. Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and improve flow. Support quality control initiatives, including assisting with root cause analysis of defects and implementing preventative measures. Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or similar. Proficiency with 3D CAD software (CATIA or other similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Great verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks.
