Description Physician MH General Surgery, Biddeford Biddeford, Maine Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE Req#: 51162 MaineHealth General Surgery - Biddeford, a department of MaineHealth Surgery, is currently seeking a BC general surgeon to join their current group of three general surgeons in their hospital-employed practice located in Biddeford, Maine. The successful candidate will join an established practice of three surgeons and five Advanced Practice Providers, located in Biddeford, Maine. The general surgeons at Maine Medical Center - Biddeford provide comprehensive surgical care including minimally invasive techniques such as robotic, laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Surgeons handle a wide range of cases annually. The call coverage is located in Biddeford and services the Biddeford and Sanford emergency departments. Elective practice includes a wide array of general surgery with room for growth in colorectal and complex hernia. Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified preferred/Board Eligible for the right candidate. Fellowship-trained preferred 3-5 years in practice preferred This position offers: Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
