About the Facility:
Our new walk-in care center in North Conway, New Hampshire, is committed to providing exceptional, accessible healthcare services to the community. We operate 7 days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., delivering convenient, high-quality care to patients in need.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our team at this new facility. The PSS will be a critical part of the patient experience, handling clerical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations and excellent patient service.

Key Details:
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with full-time hours available in just 3 days per week. Exact scheduling will be determined once the team is hired.

  • Shift Rotation: Schedule may be consistent or rotating depending on staffing and availability. Coverage for most holidays will be rotating, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, when the facility will be closed.

  • Hours of Operation: Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • Remote Work: This position requires on-site presence; no remote work option is available.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients efficiently and courteously.

  • Verify patient information and insurance details accurately.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments as needed.

  • Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality.

  • Perform medical clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and phone communication.

  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to enhance patient flow.

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
