ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with project management, applied science, data, and design teams to define opportunities where artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) can improve user experience.Implement, test, and optimize features, ensuring low latency and high performance in AI-driven scenarios.Applies deep subject-matter expertise to influence cross-team planning and execution, aligning engineering efforts with product vision and accelerating delivery through fast iteration and experimentation.Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), ensuring reliability and performance of Store client experiences, while mentoring engineers across the team and driving operational excellence.Proactively explores emerging technologies and patterns to improve availability, efficiency, and observability of the Store client, sharing insights and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Stay current with advancements in LLM capabilities, retrieval/ranking systems, and recommendation models-and proactively identify where they can be applied.
