Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends

Are you mechanically inclined and ready to grow your career in manufacturing? Join our team as an Assistant Operator in our Foam Extrusion department, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality products in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

As an Assistant Operator, you'll support the Operator in running the production line efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with machine setup and operation to meet production goals and quality standards
• Performing quality checks (length/width, vacuum tests, micrometer readings)
• Operating forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles to stage materials
• Setting slitters and perforations to spec
• Supporting minor maintenance tasks and TPM/PM activities
• Helping with packaging, labeling, and scrap management
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicating effectively during shift transitions
• Assisting with troubleshooting and cross-functional tasks as needed

• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Ability to operate forklifts and golf carts safely
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing, bending)
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)

• Non-airconditioned indoor facility
• Temperatures may exceed 90F with high humidity
• Exposure to manufacturing machinery and noise levels above 85 dB

• Frequent standing (up to 12 hours), walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, twisting
• Occasional stair/ladder climbing
• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, shoulders, and other joints

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
• Stable work history preferred
