JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a part-time Research Support Assistant to work on a range of Food as Medicine initiatives. This position will include working with a community-engaged, dynamic, fast paced, interdisciplinary research team. This position will work up to 24-hours/week. This candidate will assist in coordinating and executing aspects of our SNAP Ed and community-based nutrition education programming. This includes providing in person or zoom based nutrition education, food tastings, and cooking demonstrations to diverse groups of people who are SNAP eligible in low-income settings (children, adults, and families). The candidate will also be responsible for helping to identify new program delivery sites within the community and maintaining existing relationships where SNAP-Ed approved curricula.
