Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's WayFort Myers FL 33912 Department: Radiology - Spec Procedures Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/7:00:00 AM to 7:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$33.37 - $45.05 / hour SummaryThe Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care throughout the radiology and imaging departments. This role ensures comprehensive care through all phases of the nursing processassessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluationwhile maintaining strict adherence to clinical and regulatory standards. The Radiology RN applies advanced critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide care across diverse imaging modalities, including interventional radiology, CT, MRI, and diagnostic procedures. Serving as clinician, educator, collaborator, and patient advocate, the RN promotes a positive patient experience, ensures safety, and supports optimal outcomes. In partnership with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals, the RN coordinates care for patients undergoing procedures, monitors responses to sedation and contrast, and provides pre- and post-procedure education.
