Onboarding Specialist

CLA is looking for an Onboarding Specialist with to join our National Outsourcing-Client Success team. This team is focused on providing an expedient and best in class onboarding experience for clients. This role will focus on developing innovative processes, utilizing technology to the fullest extent, and reinforcing a culture in which the client experience is at the center of the company.

Job Description:

• Knowledge on chart of accounts setup and conversions to make recommendations on improvements.

• Make recommendations to improve chart of accounts and system setup and conversions.

• Work across a wide variety of industries, pulling in additional industry expertise when needed.

• Learn business drivers, strategy, risk areas, and accounting concerns.

• Successfully utilize accounting systems such as QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), and Xero.

• Utilize AR/AP systems such as BILL.com and Ramp.com.

• Adapt and change with client needs and deadlines.

• Remain accurate and consistent in task execution.

Education/Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience required. Experience in accounting or finance field preferred.

• Travel:This position may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.

• Strong project and time management skills.

• Ability to adapt and change with client needs and deadlines.

• Knowledge on chart of accounts setup and conversions.

• Proficiency in accounting systems such as QBO, QBD, and Xero.

• Proficiency in AR/AP systems such as BILL and Ramp

• Proficiency with applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
