The Health Systems & Government Services Sales Trainee will train and develop to gain an understanding of the Health Systems & Government Services business segment. In preparation for a position at Cencora, they will complete sales-focused rotations to include Account Management, Product Sales, Sales Coordinator and other roles. These experiences typically take place over the course of five to seven months and will prepare the associate for a position on any of these teams. The associate may be required to relocate depending on the openings available upon completion of the Trainee Program. Start Date: June 22, 2026 Responsibilities:
Additional Job Description Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Ability to work well on an independent basis with strong organizational skills; self-starter Willingness to travel and attend regular Cencora trainings Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Strong presentation skills Strong time management skills; ability to schedule customer appointments in advance Demonstrates initiative in their own professional development and business curiosity through keeping abreast of the industry and its changes by utilizing industry information and company literature. Must be willing to travel extensively (including overnight travel) within the assigned customer base and geographic territory; travels to events such as conferences, national and regional sales meetings. Strong customer service skills Strong willingness to learn, including accepting and implementing feedback from various sources Capacity to learn from and apply a wide variety of disciplines to Cencora customers Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong creativity skills; focused and disciplined Strong interpersonal skills Strong mathematical and analytical skills Strong presentation skills Up-to-date knowledge of presentation software and equipment A recent or upcoming College Graduate seeking a career in sales preferred.
