Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and assemble testing apparatuses to support testing and development of commercial HVAC products.
* Learn HVAC product certification standards.
* Perform electrical and mechanical modifications to test units and components.
* Fabricate and assemble testing apparatuses to support testing and development of commercial HVAC products.
* Understanding of HVAC product certification standards.
* Accurately record and document test data utilizing data systems and MS Office applications.
* Calibrate test equipment.
* Troubleshoot units or instrumentation issues.
* Run performance testing on HVAC equipment according to the ASHRAE / UL standards to support the HVAC Commercial Engineering team, including setting up, instrumenting, and testing of Client rooftop units

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 5-7 years HVAC or maintenance experience required; however, additional education may be considered in place of years or experience
* EPA refrigerant certification EPA608

Preferred Qualifications:
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
* Experience with basic electrical wiring (3 phase electrical experience a plus)
* Experience working with combustible and pressurized gasses.
* Experience with refrigeration cycles and components used within those cycles.
* Proficiency in brazing preferred.
* Ability to read and understand test procedures.
* Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to communicate effectively, follow oral and written instructions.
* Ability to write clear, concise, and consistent emails.
* Strong safety record.
* Ability to multitask and shift priorities with very short notice.
