* Base Pay Range: $32.82 (meets minimum qualifications) to $48.27 (highly experienced) per hour, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Applies broad clinical and administrative knowledge to align departmental strategy with health system goals and patient outcomes.

Optimizes bed utilization and throughput across campuses through strategy development and implementation.

Collaborates with clinical teams to streamline the admission, discharge, and transfer process and support operational efficiency.

Collaborates with patients, family, nurses, physicians, logistics, house supervisors, and the leadership team to ensure streamlined processes and support operational efficiency.

Manages facilities and physical resources to support effective patient care and reduce waste.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to drive organizational success and improve patient outcomes.

Works in conjunction with the leadership team to support and align budget management, in alignment with health system priorities, and identifies cost-saving opportunities.

Oversees policy implementation and regulatory reporting for assigned departments.

Participates in at least one shared leadership committee outside of departmental shared leadership.

Develops and communicates strategic and operational goals for admission, discharge, and transfer services, ensuring alignment with regulatory and performance improvement standards.

Maintains clinical competencies to provide direct patient care as necessary.

May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

Two (2) years of RN experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Experience in a hospital setting.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.

This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
