As R&D Integrating Manager within Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS), you will lead a high-performing team of 2-3 R&D Managers and 35-40 engineers and scientists specializing in lasers, optics, and electronics to develop the industry's most advanced laser interferometer position measurement systems. In this pivotal role, you will combine deep technical acumen with outstanding people leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth to ensure the delivery of breakthrough system performance for advanced semiconductor lithography applications beyond the 2.5nm node. You will act as the primary interface with major customers, guiding R&D programs in partnership with clients who fund leading-edge technology solutions. This requires a balance of technical oversight and stakeholder engagement, translating customer needs into actionable research plans while maintaining timely, high-quality execution of customized development projects. As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor, develop, and inspire the R&D group - ensuring individual growth, team effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners. Your management will drive talent development, accountability, and operational excellence, empowering the team to advance Moore's Law through world-class innovation Qualifications Education: BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Electrical Engineering required. Technical Leadership: Minimum 5 years' experience managing product development as an R&D project manager or leading multi-year, large-scale technology programs (preferably with direct people management of teams exceeding 25 members and multiple subordinate managers). Industry Experience: At least 5 years within the semiconductor equipment sector required; experience interfacing with global customers and cross-functional teams highly preferred. Systems Engineering: Demonstrated proficiency in systems engineering and cross-team coordination with ability to drive error budget allocation and ensure overall system performance at the subsystem and integrated levels. Communication & Customer Engagement: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a record of delivering customer-oriented results and building strategic customer relationships through effective global communication platforms. Team Leadership & People Management: Track record of supervising other managers and leading large, diverse engineering teams; proven ability to inspire, develop, and motivate high-performing teams, creating a collaborative culture focused on company-wide results. Change & Results Orientation: Evident ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings; consistently drives accountability and delivers results, pushing self and teams to exceed targets especially under challenging circumstances. Business Acumen & Strategic Vision: Skilled at interpreting financial, technological, and market trends for strategic program guidance; able to make decisive, risk-aware decisions and adapt quickly-welcoming new perspectives and continual learning. Innovation & Customer Focus: Demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, relentless determination, and a commitment to discovering innovative solutions through both internal and external collaboration; places customer insight at the heart of product development. Global Collaboration: Proficient at managing international projects and engaging customer teams in different geographies through telecommunication tools; business travel expected at 10% or less.
