Your role
As a Sales Representative, you will manage, call on, and support compressed air treatment portfolio of established and new distributors in assigned Midwest territory of the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.
- Manage, call on, and support Trident/ Air & Gas Solutions portfolio of product to distributors and key accounts in assigned area.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and as referred by marketing efforts.
- Introduce new products. Understand customer needs and work with internal team members to identify best possible solutions for customers.
- Actively engage in planned prospecting activities geared at increasing the customer base, and continually increase Air & Gas Solutions presence in the market.
- Obtain, develop, or otherwise prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and pricing.Maintain customer base, quotations, and calendar daily.
- Prepare for and attend trade shows, exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
- Relay any customer service concerns through quality follow up checks; identify and resolve customer concerns where possible and ensure the customer is taken care of from order to receipt.
- Work with accounting teams to ensure terms are being managed within agreed upon metrics, and customer receivables are up to date.

- A minimum of three years of proven success in industrial sales, ideally within compressed air or related technical industries.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent training in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a closely related technical field.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently while exhibiting leadership qualities in managing complex sales cycles.
- Strong business analysis and strategic planning skills to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for building lasting professional relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, to support reporting and proposal development.
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% locally and 30% overnight, with a valid driver's license as travel is essential to engage with clients and attend events.
