As the Global R2R Process Lead, you will steward our PPG Global Template for Record-to-Report - governing standards, driving adoption, and shaping how finance operates across implementations and business-as-usual. You'll partner with the IT Center of Excellence, super users, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into globally consistent, compliant, and scalable R2R processes in SAP S/4HANA. You'll own the R2R process blueprint, evaluate change requests, run impact assessments end-to-end, and guide teams through design, deployment, and stabilization. In BAU, you'll tackle escalations, coach process owners, maintain documentation, and continuously improve KPIs. You will be on a hybrid/remote schedule and report to the Associate Director. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the Global Template for R2R (Record-to-Report) processes, ensuring global consistency, compliance, and best practices
- Lead governance and process standardization, setting and enforcing global R2R policies and frameworks
- Support ERP implementations, guiding design, deployment, and adoption of standardized processes
- Collaborate with ITCenter of Excellence, super users, and business stakeholdersto assess requirements and manage system capabilities within template standards
- Evaluate process changes and enhancements, conducting impact assessments and ensuring end-to-end alignment
- Provide expert guidance for business-as-usual finance requests, addressing escalations and driving continuous improvement
- Maintain process documentationand support training and knowledge sharing
- Monitor R2R Key Performance Indicatorsto identify improvement opportunities and strengthen process efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 7+ years in Accounting/Finance with deep R2R expertise (GL, Close, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Accounts Receivable, Credit, FSCM, Accounts Payable, Tax, Treasury, or Banking), including at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA deployment in the R2R domain
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (e.g., Universal Journal, Asset Accounting, Closing Cockpit) and exposure to tools like Signavio (or similar) for process modeling.
- Strong understanding of global Finance processes, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
- Proven track record in process standardization, governance, or template management
- Proven ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment; skilled with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, IT COE, Shared Services, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills; able to define and monitor R2R KPIs and translate insights into improvements
- Clear, concise cross-cultural communicator - comfortable leading presentations, workshops, and making governance decisions
