Summary:

The Food Service Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and efficient store environment. This role will cover various areas within food service, and duties will include assisting customers with transactions, food preparation, maintaining a clean work environment, and handling cash transactions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain a positive attitude, and support team members to deliver a high-quality experience for every customer. The essential functions are customer service and point of sale (POS) operations, food and beverage preparation, inventory and merchandising, sanitation and quality control, team collaboration, and training.

Hours: 11:30am-8pm or 2:30 - 11pm (Days/hours will vary, must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays).

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of customer service/cashier experience preferred.

• Previous experience in Food Service is preferred.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to adapt to change in routine and work assignments, and relate to patients, families, and inter- and intra-departmental staff.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

• Must have a current City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Card prior to start and maintain throughout employment.
