  • Coordinate workface planning to optimize productivity, minimize downtime, and ensure seamless integration with other trades and disciplines.

  • Monitor and evaluate manpower requirements, crew efficiency, and productivity, implementing adjustments as needed.

  • Ensure proper training, mentorship, and development of apprentices and junior trade staff, fostering a skilled and competent workforce.

  • Oversee quality control activities, ensuring that work meets design specifications, codes, and company standards.

  • Monitor costs and resource utilization to support project budgets and financial objectives.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of proactive risk management.

  • Communicate effectively with construction management, supervisors, and trade teams, resolving conflicts and influencing outcomes to achieve project goals.

  • Support the development and implementation of construction systems, processes, and tools, providing guidance and troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Journey-level certification or equivalent qualification in relevant trade, where applicable.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, trade practices, and site operations.
