As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prestigious retail location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting with security-related matters. You will help to deter incidents through your presence and communication skills, utilizing technology such as alarm panels and access control systems. Pay Rate: $19.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
• Assist with visitor management processes, including verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and/or employees to provide assistance and relay important information.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk area.
• Document security-related incidents and observations according to company and location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
