Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for a Lead SAP Engineer Order-To-Cash (OTC). As a Lead SAP Engineer OTC at Cleveland-Cliffs, you will be part of a team providing support for the SAP production environment as well as participating in strategic projects as needed. Your contributions in supporting the design and execution of order management processes are vital as this is both a business analysis and systems support role, and you will work under minimal supervision to lead the build efforts for solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on, fast-paced collaborative environments, and is willing to seize opportunities to develop themselves into architect and/or leadership roles.

SAP Order-To-Cash refers to integrated business processes within SAP ERP systems that manage the entire lifecycle of a customer order, from its creation to payment collection, including Sales and Distribution, Order Management, Pricing, VC, Accounts Receivables and EDI.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of the OTC modules by having a good end-to-end knowledge of the business process and how the legacy applications fit in with SAP.
  • Ensure sustainability of the SAP OTC solutions
  • Translate the business processes, objectives, and KPIs of the supported areas into business requirements.
  • Understand the overall Cleveland Cliffs SAP landscape and architecture.
  • Ensure knowledge of SAP OTC is current by staying up to date in the related sub-modules.
  • Ensure all production documentation is up to date including functional specifications and test cases.
  • Lead the development of OTC solutions ensuring that they conform with best practices and Cliffs standards and that production documentation is kept up to date including functional specifications and test cases.
  • Train end users by conducting knowledge sessions and assisting with user documentation.
  • Ensure the design of OTC solutions are aligned with the SAP roadmap.
  • Lead ongoing communication and support with business users of OTC areas
  • Lead the functional implementation of projects in the SAP OTC arena ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Capable of providing overall leadership to others on larger change requests or projects impacting many SAP disciplines.
  • Ability to break up larger change requests or projects into appropriate workstreams and provide guidance and support to Project Managers on estimates and plans.
  • Assist the business teams in addressing change management items.
  • Working and coordinating with other IT teams (non-SAP)
  • Integrating SAP with other integration tools - IBM WebSphere
  • Gain SAP knowledge using SAP trainings, conferences, and local forums.
  • Ability to understand overall SAP direction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 8 years of experience with SAP SD and working knowledge in other integrated modules like MM, FI-AR
  • Experience in at least two full project lifecycles end to end
  • Strong exposure to EDI's (850, 855, 810, 830 etc.,).
  • Knowledge of RFC's, BAPI's, BADI's, BDC's, User Exits, and enhancement points.
  • Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and flat files.
  • Broad technical knowledge - including all key SAP functionality and technology.
  • Expert in IDOC enhancements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management and IT Service Management fundamentals
  • 3 years of experience leading IT professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or Steel experience
  • IBM WebSphere Middleware or Oracle SOA exposure
  • ABAP debugging skills.
  • Fiori knowledge
  • BRF+ knowledge
  • Cloud experience in Cloud for customer CRM (C4C)
  • Good understanding about GATP and AATP concepts.
  • SAP HANA 2021 or more recent experience
  • O365 Microsoft tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong experience with ITIL concepts and processes.
