EisnerAmper's tax team is seeking a Tax Administrative Coordinator to join the New York City team. This role is hybrid with 3 days per week in office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and in providing colleagues and clients with exceptional service.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Provide advanced partner and colleague support for administrative needs

  • Oversee the collation and e-filing of complex tax returns and manage client communications

  • Respond to unique and/or complex client requests with problem solving and firm knowledge

  • Identify processes that cause inefficiencies or risks to quality and effectively working with firm personnel to affect positive change

  • Provide "champion" knowledge of technology/specialized technical knowledge

  • Serve as a resource for resolving issues related to administrative software and processes

  • Provide training and mentorship to administrative professionals

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within professional services

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

  • Experience training and mentoring team members

  • In-depth knowledge of tax processes, tax return workflow tools, and client management systems

  • Ability to handle sensitive client data with discretion and professionalism

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment

Physical Requirements

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and telephone. The role also involves occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of items up to 20 pounds. Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and clear communication skills are essential.
