Lead Analyst - Item Master Managed Services

Summary:

In this role, you will independently support multiple hospitals by driving product data accuracy, ensuring contracted pricing compliance and implementing product and pricing updates within client ERP systems. You will analyze and resolve data issues to meet contractual KPIs, Service Level Agreements and provide recommendations to improve Item Master data. You will support daily team operations, lead process improvements and help standardize data practices. You will contribute to training, workflow development and implementation as new clients are brought onboard. You will collaborate with other analysts, management and business leads to evaluate processes and review opportunities for adjustments and/or improvements. You will present recommendations to management and / or external stakeholders and provide guidance in selecting alternatives with impact to the team / functional area's bottom line.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure item master cleansing activities meet client service levels by collaborating with clients and vendors as needed.

  • Manage data standardization, vendor research, product categorization, contract alignment, price updates and discrepancy resolution.

  • Combines data from multiple sources to generate strategic insights that drive informed decision-making and present recommendations to management.

  • Drive client satisfaction by setting clear expectations, resolving issues and delivering on commitments.

  • Support custom analytics using structured and unstructured datasets from internal and external sources.

  • Lead projects by applying best practices, managing resources and ensuring timely high-quality deliverables.

  • Implement new processes with minimal supervision to improve efficiency and prevent errors.

  • Create provider-ready deliverables and PowerPoints for ad hoc analyses and projects.

  • Serve as a mentor, subject matter expert and resource for less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience in a analytical or data management rolepreferred.

  • Experience with Workday or other ERP is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and AI strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success leading process improvement projects and end-to-end data projects to enhance data quality.

  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and customer service skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Advanced knowledge of Vizient Catalog and Vizient Data Management Platform is a plus.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to and collaborate with client leadership.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
