Overview of the Role

The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help inform and guide decision making through business partner support and insightful analyses. We are looking for forward-thinking, results-oriented individuals that will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in leading teams and improving processes that will allow us to scale with growth.
Within the Finance & Strategy (F&S) organization, this position will serve as a key business partner to the Global Incentive Compensation team, also in partnership with Sales Strategy and Operating Unit leadership, to build annual budgets, manage quarterly forecasts, and provide decision support through financial analysis to ensure optimal returns on strategic investments. This role will also be responsible for leading the management of scenario modeling and tracking for sales performance incentives.
Successful candidates for this role have proven experience as a trusted strategic advisor and an exceptional partner to cross-functional stakeholders. They exhibit strong financial and analytical skills, a keen eye for process improvement, are a curious problem solver, and excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas into action. They have exceptional partnership and communication skills, are able to manage multiple priorities, and deal with ambiguity effectively. Additionally, this individual is expected to be an integral player in important cross-functional, organization-wide initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Primary finance business partner to the Global Incentive Compensation team.

  • Work with leaders to establish the financial goals and measure progress throughout the year, highlighting finance recommendations on course of action, including providing a decision framework for optimizing resource allocations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the commissions F&S modeling for sales performance incentives and create flexible sales performance incentive models.

  • Become embedded with business partners across the company, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant drivers.

  • Develop a framework for effective management, ROI analysis and business recommendations of strategic investments.

  • Drive improved management reporting and create a Total Company Commissions lens to allow for holistic management of Commissions.

  • Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance to allow for better decision making with regards to Commissions expense.

  • Work closely with Functional leads to provide management reporting, accounting, and compliance guidance plus ensure alignment of global as well as local operational initiatives.

  • Lead a team of Finance & Strategy professionals, focusing on inspiring, developing, and motivating team members towards company and organizational goals.

  • Drive process improvement and standardization in partnership with other Finance Business Partners across the Finance and Strategy organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven leadership and mentorship experience, including leading teams of teams. Leading geographically dispersed teams is a plus.

  • Ability to apply strong business judgment and communicate effectively with executive management, business stakeholders, and technical communities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, influence, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Business Objects, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Alteryx, or other BI tools.

  • Experience with the development of dashboards utilizing data visualization platforms (i.e. Tableau, PowerBi, etc.).

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence appropriately.

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week in Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA.
