Facilities Supervisor

Annual Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 DOE

Location: On-site in Central AZ

Overview/Position Summary:

This position must be a self-starter with independent work habits. He/she must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels. He/she must have excellent communication, negation and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate leadership success and hands-on experience. The individual must demonstrate strong commitment and positive attitude to the goals and philosophies of the Company. Must be effective in analyzing and evaluating problems and in making recommendations and suggestions to bring change to system to improve customer relations. Must possess business aptitude of organization, delegation and computer systems. This position must be able to complete, review and recap their weekly paperwork of remote inspections and repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the quality, cost and performance aspects of assigned suppliers /vendors
  • Provides leadership/mentoring to all subordinate personnel
  • Maintain tools and equipment for remote inspections and repairs
  • Manages processes of product/service requirements, identifies and qualifies appropriate suppliers for facilities.
  • Meets with Manager on a consistent basis to discuss work allocation and resolution for repairs identified.
  • Establishes and implements short-long range goals, and objectives for occupied facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Excel and Word.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attends all mandatory staff meetings and meets training requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Licensing/Certification

  • Administrative degree, certification or any combination of experience necessary to perform essential job requirements.
  • Should possess a general handyman skill set including:
    • Proficient in patch/paint
    • Small building maintenance
    • Lighting
    • Toilet repair
    • Ceiling tile replacement
    • Outlet ducts - vacuumed monthly
    • Replacing switch plates and outlet covers as needed
    • Monitor furnishings in Locations for replacement as needed
