Job Summary

The SSIS independently manages smaller projects and assists with larger, multi-disciplinary initiatives involving internal teams, vendors, and clients. The SSIS supports Solution Implementation Managers (SIMs) in planning, organizing, and executing training and technology projects. Success in this role requires strong multitasking, proactive communication, and personal accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand and able to communicate the overall strategic intent of a project and provide project management support to meet the needs of project.
  • Manage overall budget and utilization of contributing resources throughout project lifecycle to ensure projects stay within scoped timeline and budget with senior SIM oversight.
  • Develop project kick-off decks, briefs, and other related materials, as well as facilitate the client and internal kick-off and status meetings with senior SIM oversight.
  • Drive processes and timeline adherence.
  • Engage with the client throughout the entirety of the project and leads status/other meetings with the client team and internal team members, with oversight from SIM.
  • Responsible for tracking client requests and global changes to content/scope and ensures consistency among deliverables.
  • Accurately capture current state and next steps through weekly updates and, if necessary, meeting recaps and distributes to appropriate team members.
  • Manage the compliant execution of the client's legal, medical, regulatory review process for each deliverable, including uploading and linking references for all deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and coordinates essential project groups as needed.
Job Qualifications

Experience

  • Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management
  • Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience in life sciences/pharma/biotech industry

Education

  • Required: 4-year college degree

Skills

  • Required: Good at establishing clear directions; effective communicator; problem-solver; adaptable communication style; organized; understands job responsibilities of others and functions appropriately
  • Required: MS Office Suite experience
  • Preferred: Project Management Software/Programs
  • Preferred: Proficient in medical/legal/regulatory submission processes and platforms (i.e., Veeva, MAP, Zinc)

The annual base salary for this position ranges from 70K to 75K. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
