ACDA Project Technical Coordinator

As the Project Technical Coordinator for the University of Minnesota Dance Program's March 2026 ACDA conference, perform the following tasks:

  • Attend advance planning meetings as necessary Fall 2025 and Winter 2025-26 (Schedule TBA)
  • Gather incoming technical information from conference participants, and prepare it for use by the ACDA Technical Director
  • Act as planning point person for the informal concert and screendance venue
  • Act as Technical Director, Lighting Designer and SM for informal concert and screendance venue
  • Assist ACDA Technical Director as necessary with matters pertaining to venue operations during the conference
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience as a Technical Director for theatre and/or dance performances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience planning, coordinating, and executing conferences in the theatre arts or dance areas.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $40 - $50 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications. Learn more about retirement plans.
