Job Description:

Job Summary:

The HITRUST Senior Consultant will support HITRUST certification projects, providing expert guidance and ensuring compliance with HITRUST CSF standards. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of HITRUST certification engagements, including risk assessments and gap analyses.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on HITRUST requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement remediation plans to achieve HITRUST certification.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Stay informed about HITRUST CSF updates and industry trends to provide current and relevant guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years (Senior) or 4+ years (Manager) of experience in IT audit, HITRUST, or cybersecurity consulting.

  • Hands-on experience performing HITRUST readiness and validated assessments.

  • Familiarity with control frameworks and standards such as NIST, HIPAA.

  • Strong communication skills-both technical and business-focused.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and team members.

Preferred:

  • HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP) certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or CISSP.

  • Experience with cloud security controls and enterprise technologies (Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Prior experience in consulting or professional services.

  • Additional cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,700.00 - $168,900.00 per year.
