As an Operations Supervisor, you will leverage your leadership skills to coordinate and direct the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity. By working closely with the Branch Manager, you will provide the supervision needed to ensure safety, branch metric performance and Rental Flow efficiency, while contributing world-class sales and customer service support.

What you'll do:
  • Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
  • Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
  • Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, determining root causes and opportunities for improvement and providing coaching and feedback to staff, making recommendations for corrective actions
  • Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring that staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; drive profitability by monitoring and controlling costs
  • May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposit, and others
  • Motivate, coach and train personnel
  • Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
  • Other duties assigned as needed


Requirements:
  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales and operational experience
  • 2+ years supervision and leadership experience
  • Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related
  • Strong motivational and leadership skills
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable record

Responsabilites:

  • Soutien du directeur de succursale pour la mise en place d'actions visant a atteindre les objectifs financiers, y compris le chiffre d'affaires souhaite.
  • Aux cotes du directeur de succursale, promotion d'un environnement de controle efficace, par la conformite a toutes les politiques d'entreprise (y compris la liste de verification des mesures de controle de la succursale) et l'application des normes d'ethique et d'integrite les plus elevees.
  • Appui de toutes les activites commerciales et de service a la clientele, afin d'offrir un service de calibre mondial et d'atteindre l'excellence operationnelle, notamment dans les devis de location, les reservations et les contrats, conformement aux politiques et procedures de l'entreprise.
  • Etablissement de nouveaux comptes et reactivation d'anciens comptes, par la determination des besoins et la creation de solutions centrees sur le client, a partir d'une gamme complete d'offres a valeur ajoutee.
  • Maximisation de l'efficacite et de l'efficience operationnelle: veiller a ce que le personnel soit forme et respecte les processus de location, soutenir la rentabilite par le controle et le suivi des couts.
  • Parfois responsable des operations quotidiennes, y compris l'ouverture et la fermeture, le rapprochement du tiroir-caisse, les depots a la banque, etc.
  • Soutien du directeur de succursale pour la mise en place de nouvelles strategies et de nouveaux programmes operationnels.
  • Appui, communication et maintien de la conformite avec l'ensemble des reglementations federales, provinciales/etatiques et locales dans l'ensemble de la region d'affectation.
  • Autres taches attribuees par le directeur de succursale en fonction des besoins. Responsabilite de la gestion du rendement du personnel direct, y compris les representants commerciaux internes, et d'autres membres du personnel, en fonction des besoins. Leadership et supervision necessaires au fonctionnement uniforme d'un service client de calibre international.
  • Motivation, encadrement et formation du personnel.
  • Responsable de la communication et de la satisfaction des employes, conformite aux processus et aux politiques, encadrement et directives en fonction des besoins.
  • Creation des horaires des employes, tenue des etats de presence et des releves de temps (actualisation et precision).
  • Resolution des problemes lorsque le personnel a besoin d'aide, conformement au processus etabli de signalement a la hierarchie.
  • En fonction des besoins, accueil des nouvelles recrues et formation continue des employes.
  • Le cas echeant, etablissement de relations de travail productives avec le delegue syndical et application de la convention collective en vigueur.
  • Retroactions regulieres sur le rendement. Recompense et reconnaissance des employes afin de renforcer les comportements positifs. Elaboration et presentation promptes de plans d'amelioration du rendement en fonction des besoins. Promotion d'une culture de securite et de discipline: leadership, respect individuel exemplaire des normes de securite, sens de la responsabilite et communication.
  • Avec une grande determination, encouragement, communication et mise en place des objectifs, politiques et procedures de securite de l'entreprise, de la zone geographique et de la region.
  • Maintien d'un niveau de conformite absolu dans l'ensemble du site. Responsable des enquetes sur les incidents, accidents et incidents evites de justesse, du lancement jusqu'a la resolution. Responsabilisation des collaborateurs et des employes vis-a-vis de la conformite et de la prevention.
  • Collaboration avec les responsables de la securite et les services de gestion du risque d'entreprise afin d'appuyer les programmes de securite reglementaires, notamment les audits, les formations de securite, la conformite OSHA et la reglementation du DOT.
  • Recherche agressive de l'amelioration du rendement et de l'abaissement du taux de blessures enregistrees et des incidents evites de justesse.
  • Maintien continu des licences et certifications IVES obligatoires des employes.
  • Proprete generale du bureau, de l'atelier, de la cour et des espaces communs.


Exigences :
  • 3 ans ou plus d'experience en gestion commerciale ou des affaires, ainsi que de connaissances de base de l'equipement de location, dans le domaine de la construction ou un secteur connexe.
  • 2 annees d'experience en supervision et en leadership.
  • Une comprehension des principes comptables et du compte de resultat est egalement desirable. Nous recherchons aussi des aptitudes en leadership et en motivation du personnel, la capacite a mener a bien plusieurs taches en meme temps et les competences informatiques de base.
  • Diplome d'etudes secondaires et permis de conduire valide avec dossier de conduite acceptable; baccalaureat preferable.

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - SCAFFOLD, SWING STAGE, MAST CLIMBER FOREMAN/SUPERINTENDENT

As a Scaffold Operations Supervisor, you'll perform scaffold erection and dismantle in a safe and professional manner. You will also perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of a variety rental equipment and tools. You'll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge, and business management.

What you'll do:
  • Recognize and communicate the need for tools, parts, and inventory
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily/job basis
  • Record preventative and ready inspection completion
  • Document parts and labor accurately
  • Checkout, familiarize, and demonstrate a wider array of more complex equipment for customers
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Other duties assigned as needed


Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Active applicable state class driver's license
  • 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate
  • Scaffold Erection and Dismantle Competent
  • Must own tools applicable to position
  • Solid verbal and written skills
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of schematics and diagrams
