Responsibilities Norton Healthcare invites college students currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program to apply for the Summer College Internship program. Interested students can apply now by visiting NortonHealthcareCareers.com and searching "internship." This highly competitive opportunity will be open for a limited time. In this immersive 12-week, full-time, paid internship, interns will receive hands-on experience and learn about the health care industry. The program offers project experiences across the health care system, professional development, community engagement and executive exposure. Interns will have an opportunity to look at many facets of our health care system as it relates to continuously striving to improve our quality of care for our patients, community, and employees. College students in clinical disciplines such as nursing, laboratory, respiratory, pharmacy and radiology, who are interested in pursuing leadership pathways, will find this program especially valuable. The internship program consists of four key areas:
The interns will perform daily tasks and projects that include the design, execution and evaluation of projects. This includes literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, data integration and analysis. They will also assist staff with the design and maintenance of online surveys and relational databases, data collection and management, report creation, field work and administrative tasks as assigned.
