Sustainability Internship
nVent's Product Sustainability Internship will provide the opportunity to support a variety of facets of day to day Product Sustainability initiatives, gaining exposure and valuable development experiences within a global manufacturing organization. Product Sustainability at nVent includes but is not limited to: measuring existing product environmental impacts through LCA, working in tangent with new product development to develop more sustainable products, meet public sustainability goals and ensure product sustainability regulation compliance. This is a 12-week full-time internship during the summer 2026. In this position, you will get to:
- Work directly with our Product Sustainability Leader to ensure robust program and project management across multiple stakeholders
- Assist in LCA support and development
- Partner with product compliance and the nVent sustainability team to provide relevant data for voluntary and mandatory reporting needs and customer requests
- Learn about relevant product sustainability regulations and compliances processes
- Cross collaborate across global functions including supply, operations, customer requests and product disposal
- Support NPI teams to complete product sustainability scorecards and LCA data requirements
- Attend enterprise sustainability meetings and events
- Other duties as assigned
Internship Details
- Interns are paid $25.00 hourly for time worked
- Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work
- Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance may be offered a subsequent internship or full-time offer of employment with nVent
- This Internship is based out of our facility in Anoka, MN.

- Training & Development:Training and development is provided throughout your internship through on-the-job experiences and structured learning opportunities, fostering the development of business acumen and leadership skills at a global organization.

A peer-led committee helps to organize social, professional and service-related activities and events for interns and early career professionals. You will also be invited to join our Employee Resource Groups (ERG's) which offer special events, networking, professional development and volunteer opportunities throughout the year to promote inclusion and respect and to help us embrace our diversity.
- Mentorship & Networking: Build a network of peers, managers and senior leaders to support your career path and aid your growth. Gain exposure to nVent professionals at every level who will act as formal and informal mentors during your internship.
YOU HAVE: Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, engineering technology or environmental science
- Ability to complete a 12-week Full-Time Summer internship from May/June-August 2026 in Anoka, MN
- Candidates applying for nVent's Co-Op and Internship Program must have current work authorization and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. nVent does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Willingness to learn and to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization
- Energy to listen, desire to learn and ability to be resilient and adaptable through change
- Strong work ethic and personal responsibility to see things through to completion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership experience
