    In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Collaboratively develop marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture plans
  • Lead pursuit efforts, including crafting winning strategies, developing storyboards, and preparing SOQs, proposals, and presentations
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing deliverables, including managing the pursuit process and schedule from start to finish; working proactively with technical staff to develop comprehensive, compliant, and responsive content; and following HDR's quality procedures for document production
  • Plan, facilitate, and document pursuit strategy meetings
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis efforts
  • Provide tehcnical writing and editing
  • Develop proposals in Adobe InDesign and coordinate with graphic designers for the creation of engaging graphics
  • File proposal and presentation material in accordance with HDR's document retention policies
  • Gather data and monitor financial system reporting to inform business metrics and dashboards
  • Enter and maintain accurate pursuit, project, and resume data in business development systems
  • Assist with the development of annual and long-term strategic plans within established company direction and goals, including developing growth initiatives and prioritizing strategic investments
  • Work with a wide range of management and technical experts to develop and implement client plans, including advancing long-term strategies to expand market share, foster strong relationships, and deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Aid in the solicitation of formal client feedback
  • Administer implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of Authority on a wide range of pursuit types and project complexity
  • Contribute to and participate in internal marketing team discussions about process improvement
  • Create engaging marketing content to strengthen our technical staff's understanding of the marketing process
  • Implement strategies that elevate HDR's brand and technical talent with industry associations
  • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, including English, marketing, business administration, or communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • 5+ years of A/E/C industry experience with the demonstrated ability to develop compelling content for SOQs, proposals, and interviews
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and desire to consistently engage in person, as well as ability to travel ocassionally as needed
  • Proficient in efficiently and routinely integrating feedback to improve written and graphic material
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
  • Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
