In this newly created role, as Global Claims Transformation Program Director you will lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and success of QBE's Global Claims Transformation initiative across our global operations.

Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
The salary range for this role is $320,000 - $480,000

Your New Role:

You'll oversee a cross-regional program with a global remit to reimagine and elevate the way we support and resolve claims ensuring that customers remain at the heart of our claims function.

The Global Claims Transformation Program Director will guide transformation strategy across our regions, managing change initiatives and fostering innovation to deliver measurable outcomes in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance.

This role can be located in one of our major office locations of Sydney, New York or London.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Global Claims Transformation Program to achieve all milestones and objectives, fostering a culture of customer excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Working with the divisional Claim leaders to gain an understanding of the divisional businesses and their respective needs and goals in the Global Claims Transformation Program.
  • Overseeing solution architecture for a consistent approach, emphasizing scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborating with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT, and operational teams to enable desired capabilities and maintain consistent stakeholder engagement.
  • Championing innovation, process simplification, automation and AI opportunities to uplift operational performance.
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure benefits realization.
  • Driving strategic projects and engaging with stakeholders to deliver transformational change aligned with QBE's business priorities.
  • Operating within a matrixed environment and supported by dedicated delivery teams including existing Global claims resources.

About you

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced transformation leader with a successful track record in in leading large scale business transformation programs within insurance or financial services sectors.

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Exceptional skillset in building and sustaining strong, collaborative relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT professionals.
  • Adept at navigating complex, matrixed environments, effectively managing competing priorities, and communicating program progress and benefits to diverse audiences.
  • Experienced in working in a technology driven environment.
  • Ideally worked across multiple regions and regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver robust business cases and tangible process improvements, with a focus on AI enabled outcomes for customers, business, and compliance.
  • General Insurance claims experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
