Your Role at Cabot

Cabot is seeking a HCM Workday Platform Owner to join the Digital Application and Platform Team. Cabot is in process of implemented Workday and related HCM tools as one of the key strategic platforms for the company. The HCM Platform Owner will be the technical owner of the platform. They will be responsible for delivery of additional enhancements and technical roadmap. They should be a subject matter expert in Workday technology and related HCM technology.

This position will collaborate with cross-functional partners and all levels of management to provide expertise while supporting the business and systems strategy. Will provide execution, project management, maintenance, testing, and training of enhancements of Workday and related HR Technology solutions.

Cabot is new on the Workday journey, so this is a really great opportunity help shape the functional direction of our Workday use and maximizing its value to Cabot!

This individual will be eligible to participate in Cabot's Flexible Working Arrangement (hybrid) program.



How You Will Make an Impact

    Responsible for providing technical solutions (solution architecture) leveraging Workday and related systems to meet the requirements captured by functional leads and Digital Business Relation Managers.
  • Ensures proper knowledge transfer occurs to support organization including identifying knowledge gaps, creating SOPs, etc.
  • Responsible for services lifecycle management including understanding vendor support lifecycles, patching and upgrades. Provide technical oversight during bi-annual Workday releases
  • Define and keep consistent service management levels. Ensure that customer service level expectations (SLEs) are understood, delivered upon, and are met.
  • Through ongoing demand management reviews, identifies and prioritizes technical work to be completed to ensure service-specific requests can be satisfied.
  • Responsible to manage the Workday AMS providers that will provide day to day support of the system.


What You Will Bring to Cabot

  • Subject matter expertise with a deep knowledge of the Workday platform and other related HCM technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar; or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or 10+ years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years' Workday experience with and in-depth knowledge of Workday, including role-based security administration for HR, Payroll, and Finance business users
  • Workday Certifications preferred
  • Skilled at the maintenance and support of integrations
  • Knowledgeable of deployment of periodic releases to business systems
  • Ability to research and deploy new business processes within business systems and to define benefits to the organization

  • The pay range for this role is from $148,200 to $214,900. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skill, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, all positions are eligible for health benefits on the first day of employment, 401K savings plans, vision, dental and annual bonus based on company performance.
