Job Description:

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Trust Operations Specialist with our client in the financial industry. This is a 3-month contract position. This role is fully remote.

Compensation: $50-60 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.


The Senior Trust Operations Specialist will support our client's Personal Trust Services (PTS) group. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of trust operations functions, including account maintenance, reconciliation, and settlements. Only candidates with direct Trust Operations experience will be considered.

Provide expert operational support for the client, FSB Personal Trust Services (PTS) book of business. This includes complex opening and termination of accounts, disbursements and cash movement, advisor and client communication, as well as training, quality assurance, and project support. Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive internal, external, advisor and client relationships, quality customer service and client retention.

Responsible for complex account operations functions, including opening of new accounts and closing/de-funding accounts in the administration system, completing all necessary paperwork, initiating and tracking funding and establishing interfaces with all feeder and satellite systems used in account administration.

Support PTS in assuring account data integrity. Responsible for quality control delivering quality customer service ensuring positive advisor/client relationships. Responsible for working with others across the firm who support or service PTS accounts and builds productive working relationships. Provide system processing functions to include system posting, process management review and approval, batch processing, and other reporting.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and execute daily Trust Account and DDA reconciliations



  • Perform client and account maintenance, including new account setup and termination



  • Handle cash and fee processing, disbursements, and settlements



  • Process account closures and de-funding activities



  • Manage and validate Daily Net Settlement



  • Ensure quality assurance and data integrity across systems and reports



  • Act as a liaison between advisors, clients, and internal teams for trust-related activities



  • Support operational projects and training as needed



  • Utilize systems such as FIS/Charlotte (experience preferred, not required)




Must-Have Qualifications:


  • Direct, hands-on experience in Trust Operations (required)

    Note: Experience in Trust Investment, Trust Administration, or Compliance does not qualify



  • Strong knowledge of trust accounting and operations processes



  • Familiarity with systems used in trust services; FIS/Charlotte is a plus



  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy



  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills



  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment




Preferred/Desired Skills:


  • Experience with batch processing, transaction posting, and reporting in trust platforms



  • Previous work in a bank, trust company, or wealth management operations group



  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to trust operations
