Position Summary

The Shop Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Rogers facility warehouse and grounds. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations, material handling, equipment maintenance, and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and oversee all shop and warehouse functions at the Rogers location, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to company standards.
  • Fabricate Monoform systems, cut Agru materials, and manage the staging and movement of materials as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment; coordinate with service providers for major repairs as needed.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and manage workflow to support multiple business units operating from the facility.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and internal departments to ensure timely preparation and availability of materials and forms.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure the shop and yard are consistently clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Lead and promote the company's Safety Culture by maintaining high safety standards in the shop and yard.
  • Supervise and train shop personnel, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor equipment usage and maintenance logs to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety requirements.


Qualifications



  • Previous experience managing shop, warehouse, or field operations, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments.
