As the Senior Corporate Accountant, you will report to the Financial Reporting Manager. You will prepare, maintain, monitor and improve all aspects of corporate accounting, including all journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation as part of monthly corporate close, SEC quarterly reporting with supporting documentation, internal quarterly reporting, intercompany invoicing, budgeting and strategic planning, financial analysis and special research projects as requested.

This role is hybrid and is based in North Andover, MA.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial statement close and analysis for Corporate headquarters entity, tracking financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Accurately prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the corporate general ledger.
  • Maintain and prepare multiple Corporate allocation invoices to intercompany counterparties.
  • Preparation of the 10-Q and 10-K documents, earnings releases and disclosures for the quarterly and annual financial filings in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations including the preparation of documentation and support.
  • Calculate the stock-based compensation expense globally, for multiple types of awards, and maintaining intercompany allocations using Equity Edge (E*TRADE) to run multiple types of reports and calculations.
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize and streamline reporting.
  • Assist in technical accounting projects including the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and compliance.
  • Maintain established internal control policies to ensure compliance with documented accounting policies and procedures.
  • Help manage the audit process conducted by external and internal auditors providing documentation and process walkthroughs when requested.
  • Assist with special projects including goodwill & intangible assessments, training, system upgrades and acquisitions as requested including assistance to FP&A, Treasury, and Investor Relation functions with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years accounting experience with experience in large, multi-national, public corporations
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Previous General Ledger experience
  • Proficiency with excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform complex functions).
  • Industry experience with SEC reporting experience
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP S4 Hana, Equity Edge (E*TRADE) and major ERP systems
  • High level of analytic and quantitative skills

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday, and Friday).

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
  • Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
