About the role:

As a Reactor Vessel Internals Co-Op, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems.

You will report to the Reactor Vessel Internals Components Design Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, and analysis of mechanical systems and components
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and calculation notes
  • Support ongoing projects by authoring and verifying non-conformance reports
  • Participate in technical presentations and written communications for customers and management
  • Research new technologies and manufacturing processes
  • Solve technical engineering problems
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to improve processes and design assembly fixtures
  • Participate in design reviews and present technical designs and analysis results to team members
  • Support the department with necessary technical, lab testing, or clerical work



Qualifications:

  • Pursue a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Complete Sophomore year of college
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident



We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
