Role Summary

As a Senior Technical Enablement Director, you will act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) across Ping Identity's product portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategy, creation, and delivery of technical enablement content and programs for our internal revenue teams (SE, AE, CAM, SDR) and channel partner SEs. You will lead a team of experts to simplify complex concepts, ensure content accuracy and real-world applicability, and leverage metrics to drive a culture of continuous learning that directly impacts business outcomes. This role is crucial for connecting cross-functional efforts to field activation and ensuring technical readiness across our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content and Programs: Serve as the technical SME for Ping's product portfolio, with a focus on integrations, SSO, MFA, and orchestration. Oversee the quality assurance of all technical enablement assets, establishing a consistent and methodical approach to ensure clarity, consistency, and practical implementation insights.
  • Clarify complex technical concepts: current state to future state architecture, deployment flows, and product configurations into consumable formats for field and partner enablement programs.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead strategic enablement initiatives and integrate initiatives into a programmatic framework to support new GTM motions, such as new product introductions (NPI), launches, or methodology adoption.
  • Training & Execution: Manage the full enablement lifecycle for technical enablement, from intake and setup to execution and completion. Coordinate and oversee technical training workshops for presales audiences, managing cross-functional alignment to ensure delivery quality, content accuracy, and impact to revenue outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Sales Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Partner Enablement to align messaging, tools, and resources, ensuring consistency and relevance across the revenue ecosystem.
  • Change Management: Partner with stakeholders and GTM leadership to drive change enablement, implementing new frameworks, systems, or programs to ensure field readiness and adoption at scale.
  • Program Optimization: Proactively identify and address enablement gaps by collaborating with SMEs and developing development paths and content that support onboarding, skill progression, everboarding and role-based readiness.
  • Metrics & Influence: Measure the effectiveness of enablement programs to cultivate a culture of learning. Innovate for scalable, high-impact design across all onboarding and everboarding efforts to amplify engagement and fuel customer outcomes.


Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a technical enablement, sales engineering, or a related role.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including SSO, MFA, and orchestration.
  • Proven ability to simplify and translate complex technical information into clear, actionable content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading and managing strategic, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across various teams.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and correlate enablement efforts with business performance.


Base Salary Range: $203,000-$264,375

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
